Admittedly I haven't played a God of War game, but I've really been enjoying this one since I borrowed it from a friend yesterday. I like how it actually follows, though rather loosely, the poem dantes inferno. I thought it was just going to be the title, but these are the creepy locations I've been dreaming about for years. All of these action games are kind of similar, but I dig this one. I like it WAY better than Too Human, which I call "too shitty".

Everyone's argument against Dante's Inferno is that it is too similar to God of War, I think that's a cop out review. Lot's of games are the same. I give you FPS games.

:hammer:

I'm still waiting for this one to land on my doorstep from Lovefilm, but the 'too similar to God of War' is a lazy one really, particularly as God of War isn't out on the 360.

I played the demo and found it pretty enjoyable, and perhaps even more so than the demo for God of War III (although I should say in defence of GoW, I think the demo for that was from an earlier stage than Dante's Inferno). I'm looking forward to this one. :)

I've been checking this game out a few times, still haven't made a choice to buy it. So it's worth getting?

I really like it. All of these action games are kind of the same, it just depends on what genre you're into. Crawling through hell and ripping demons to pieces just seems to appeal to me, and the upgrades make you bad ass! I think it's worth a pickup if you like bayonetta, devil may cry, dynasty warriors, too human, or any of the like. At least rent it! :)
