Well, at first it looked like a hoax, but Gizmodo have gotten a hold of the leaked iPhone 4G and done their thing enough to say that it's real. While they couldn't get it to boot up due to the technical issues you get with a leaked piece of tech, they've managed to figure the following:
The 4G is thinner than the 3GS, but weighs 3g more.
It has smaller internal components, but a 16% larger battery.
The 4G has a front facing camera, as well as a better rear camera with flash.
A second microphone has been included for noise cancellation.
The 4G's screen is slightly smaller than the current model, but runs at a higher resolution.
Included in the 4G is the same MicroSIM slot used in the iPad.
The new back panel is reportedly either glass or ceramic - they aren't sure.

Personally I think the change in looks is far better than the current model and the new features seem to rectify a few things that were lacking in the 3GS such as the god-awful picture quality associated with them. We'll see more when Apple get around to revealing it for themselves, I guess.
