I Wanna Be The Guy: The Movie: The Game (IWBTG) is a 2D platform indie freeware video game. First released in October 2007 by Michael "Kayin" O'Reilly, the game is not in active development, despite being listed as a beta. It is best known for its unusually difficult platforming elements, unorthodox level design and utilizing sound effects, characters and music from many other games. The game was created with Multimedia Fusion 2.

The game is face-stabblingly frustrating yet addicting and enjoyable at the same time. There's many Let's Plays on YouTube, just search IWBTG.

IWBTG is... argh. I tried it long ago and resorted to You Have to Burn the Rope (http://www.kongregate.com/games/Mazapan/you-have-to-burn-the-rope) to make myself feel better :/

Im horrible at platformers. I even thought Mario was discouragingly difficult. First time I ever beat it was two years ago on a PSP NES emulator with savestates and whatnot.

Now that I know how these games work I take your challenge sir!

I kid you not, I've spent the last 2 hours trying to pass the FIRST level on this game and I still can't (the game crashed so I'm going back to it later) - the infuriating part is that it's always on the last jump to the save point. Fracking thing it is.

Just a little hint: There's a lot of "Why The Hell Is That Possible!?" moments in this game, so just keep that in mind.

What the... I can't even begin to comprehend how I'm supposed to beat the first room. I get to the WUSS box, but then... what?

You do know you can load your saves, right? Just start IWBTG back up and resume where you last saved.
