Looks like the Wii is about to add to its increasingly crowded list of promising-looking survival horror games. The latest in the venerable Silent Hill franchise is on its way to the Wii, and it's looking pretty impressive.

Check out the official website (http://www.konami.com/shsm/) for more. Apparently, if you leave the menu inactive for a minute or two, you get a hidden trailer for something called 'attract mode'. Sounds interesting, here's hoping the Wii can deliver some serious games in the coming months.

Yeah, Silent Hill has been on a huge downward spiral in recent years, and badly needs a good game to revive what used to be one of the flagship survival horror series. The game's out now, and has got some pretty good reviews (http://www.metacritic.com/games/platforms/wii/silenthillshatterdmemories?q=silent%20hill%20shatt ered%20memories) for the most part. Worth a look if you've got a Wii and enjoy the series.
