Ah, that's an easy one. It was a pretty standard dream to begin with, just me living life as usual, but then I got talking to a shop owner and we were discussing the economy... normal enough... but it turned out the economy of the time was entirely centred around the fact that for any purchase you made, you received 20% of the purchase price back... in fans. Yes. Fans. The things that circulate air. So, if you bought a million dollar house, you go $200,000 worth of fans. And, as dreams do, it made perfect sense until I woke up.

52 hours. I went to see a couple of friends at Uni, and just didn't get round to it. I went to bed shortly after the hallucinations started.

Asthma and whooping cough. At the same time. Man, oh man, was that one of the funnest times of my life -- can't breath in, can't breath out.

22-ish hours after a all-nighter followed by a 12-hour shift at work. I was in bed at 8pm when I got back, and my alarm woke me at 6pm the next night for my night shift.

Ouch, there you're asking a difficult question. But, as to answer honestly, probably leaders of certain racist-movements.

If a game was badly ported to the PC by the developers - and thus, causes a great deal of horrible FPS performance - would you rage at the developers, your computer, or not at all?

I'd probably rage at the publishers who hired some third-rate eight-thumbed code monkey to do the port because he was cheap rather than someone who knew what they were doing.

What's your favourite gaming memory?

That'd have to be the discovery of the Reapers (mainly Sovereign's conversation) in Mass Effect. That gave me such a damn awesome feeling -- and chills. I won't forget this in my entire life, period.

What is the average amount of processes that your computer is running at the moment (you can use task manager to view such)?

75 (I'm only using Steam, a few Firefox windows and Open Office)

You're president of Australia for 1 day - what do you do?

Search for Australium deposits, change my name to Saxton Hale, use the treasury to found Mann Co. and enforce an 'everyone must have a moustache' law.

If you could be trapped in a game universe, which game would you choose?

The TF2 universe would be pretty cool, but I think the Mass Effect universe would be amazing.

When's the last time a moment in a game or film made your jaw drop?

Tuna Casserole. Shred yourself some tuna, cook up some pasta in a pot, simple milk-based cheese sauce in another pot over the stove, add all together with peas and corn. Pretty simple and pretty awesome. Yes Corey, I know, I'm a womanly man.

You're learning. If you held any respect for your Australian nature you would have stated something involving a slab of steak. From something you'd killed yourself. With your bear hands. While drunk. And drinking.

Paying extra for the brand name on a product. Where do you stand on this?

To each their own. Generally speaking branded products are higher quality than their cheap chinese versions. I'd rather buy a pair of shoes from Calvin Klein, because I know they will last. On the other hand, spending extra on something like Calvin Klein sock or boxers makes no sense, I have yet to meet a "high quality" pair of underwear.

Sometimes we like to indulge ourselves. A few months ago (in line with my wishes) I received a fancy Gibson electric guitar for my 18th birthday, even though I probably could have had two similar quality guitars made by Epiphone for the same price. Foolish and unreasonable? Yeah, probably. Do I regret it? No, because there is a certain air of class around it, and it smells dreamy even after all this time.

Long story short: If quality is the same, buy cheap unbranded - otherwise when there actually is a difference, quality will leave you saying cheers in the long run. Whether it's clothes or gadgets or whatever else there is that comes in both flavors.


Question: If you could eliminate piracy (but by extension online distribution) of Music and Software, would you? Would you eliminate Piracy on it's own?

Yes. You enjoy an album much more when you take the time to find it and pay for it with your hard-earned money, than when you download it and a dozen others and maybe forget about some of them and don't listen to them.

Not only that, I also firmly believe in supporting things you like.

The only reason to download something rather than buying it, for me, is to see if I like it enough to buy it when I can't find reviews or other satisfactory indication that it'll be something I'll feel good about spending my money on.
Well, that, and out-of-print albums. :p

I don't recall any real detail on that, nor do I really feel like reading history right now so here's my general opinion on independence claims:

There is no 'right' to independence, nor is there any way to claim it other than to show you deserve it. The primary way to do this is to push the occupying force from your land. If you can do this, you deserve independence. If not, you don't.
