While, yes, this is slightly less exciting for most PS3 owners than the announcement of Portal 2 heading (http://www.mature-gamers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=13834) to their beloved console, it still a good thing to know. The PS Move is set to hit North America on September 19th, Europe on September 15th, and Japan on October 21st.

Cool. Now for pricing. There are a bunch of ways to buy the set up. You can buy the wand and navigation controller for US$50 and US$30, respectively, if you've already got an Eye. If you lack an Eye, you can get a bundle with the wand, nav. controller, Eye and Sports Champion for US$100. And, for those customers needing everything there's a bundle with a PS3, all the Move gear and Sports Champion for around US$400.

But what games will use it? Many, apparently. Sony are aiming for ~20 games by Move's launch and plan to have a good 40 or so by the holiday season. Presently the only one I've seen that intrigues me is Killzone 3.

Killzone 3 seems to be on every bandwagon around: the threequel, the 3D, and the motion controller... we'll have to wait and see how that turns out. Could be one big clusterfuck, or it could be a success. It all depends how they integrate it.

So, ye of PlayStation faith, what are your thoughts?

I'm struggling to get excited about this one. Whilst I'm not a fan of the movement-based method of control anyway, at least Microsoft's Kinect is doing something new, going with full mo-cap as opposed to the wand-based controller. From what little I can tell so far, PS Move is little more than a Wii rip-off, and looks like the very worst kind of bandwagon-jumping. I won't be touching this one until I see something concrete and read a few hands-ons.
