Dunno how many of you who plays this game, but I simply love it. Been spending a lot of time playing the MP lately, currently at lvl 27.
Few game tips:
You can set a waypoint on the map and use 'fast travel' which will bring you to the waypoint instantly. It works for both MP and SP.
When doing the 'hunter challenges' (like killing 5 cougars), steal a horse and a wagon and ride to the red oval waypoint on the map. You can sit on the wagon and shoot the animals without even getting hit nor losing any of your horses.
If anyone want's to add me, my 'gamertag' is "landstrykern". If you need help with a few challenges or just wanna do some 'free roam', then I'm your man.

Yeah, the multiplayer is great fun with a decent group of players. Bit of a pain there's so many people who just exist to shoot other players, and there's a few bugs with some of the hideouts, but it's mostly awesome.

I was in a free roam session with a couple of other people, fist fighting on the cliffsides and trying to push eachother off. It was hilarious. At least until someone came along and shot us all dead.

If you want the full Old West experience, I recommend ignoring waypoints and fast travel. When using fast travel, you greatly decrease your chances of encountering the strangers, and miss out on the sometimes tragic missions they have. But otherwise, great tips.

After travelling most of the map with my horse for days, i kinda got a bit tired of the whole "Old West experience", until i just by accident found out that i could use the waypoint to travel :D

That's when "private free roam" becomes handy :p
Had a great experience with a few other players that where interested in team play and doing the various 'gang hideouts', but got shot in the back by some randoms. We ended up with a 5 man posse on a private server.

It seemed very boring when I tried it. I admit, I didn't try it for very long. But usually games hit me right away or they don't. I will try it again someday and hope it's as good as everyone is saying

not too crazy about the multiplayer yet, but I played through the story really quick, I enjoyed it. I did think it was very easy.

Have you tried the actual deathmatch modes rather than just the free roam? They're pretty good fun, and much less mercurial than the Free Roam.
So, I finally got this game, which is where all my free time has been lately. Which is why I have been on this site zero for the past month.
It's so much fun! I've still gotta get better at shooting before I have the guts to play on Live though.

Hehe, it's a bit of a life-sapper, isn't it?
Well if you do ever want to give it a crack on Live, give me a shout. I'm more than happy to posse up. :)

Played this game since July 2010 and just 2 weeks ago hooked up the internet for multiplayer. Never played any games in multi and now I know what everybody is talking about. I read a lot of message boards for hints and just came across this site. Hope some of you are still playing because this is my favorite game to play. My only frustration is that I don't have a mic so find it hard to communicate if I want someone to follow me and help clear out a hideout. Now at level 20 and want to get higher but it takes forever to gain 5000 xp when I keep getting killed. My gamertag is balimudder.

Yeah, it's a great game if you can find the right group to play with - preferably one with people who won't shoot you on sight just for kicks.
I haven't played it for a while myself, cleared the campaign, finished the DLC, and then moved on, although the multiplayer might be something I revisit down the line. A good posse is always fun.
