What are yours? :)
I remember doing a list of my top 101 movies on Facebook several months ago. I'm a bit of a cinephile. :p
Anyway, my top 5 is:
1. The Butterfly Effect
2. Full Metal Jacket
3. Blood Diamond
4. Body of Lies
5. Das Leben der Anderen (The Lives of Others)

any Bourne
Ah, you see - I loved the first one, and I enjoyed the plot of the second and third ones, but I hated the direction. I generally quite like to not feel nauseous every time there's an action scene, so Paul Greengrass' habit of shaking the cameras and cutting to a different angle twice every second didn't go down well with me.
Good films though - even if they have nothing to do with the equally good books.

I like Lee R Emery from FMJ. Have you seen him in Saving Silverman? Its a dim-witted movie but it made me laugh and I like to laugh.:lol:

That's sort of the point. :p
But either way, a lot of my favorite movies are disturbing to some people. I guess I'm into all that crazy shit. :)

Haven't watched it, but I've only heard great things about it. Will see if I can rent it one of these days. :)

Nice to see Dawn of the Dead mentioned a couple of times...

It's tough to make the list definitive though. I am looking at my picks and realizing that I didn't have room to mention Event Horizon, or Dirty Harry... off topic, Inception was pretty bad ass. I can't believe that Leo was the one, man morpheous was PISSED off when they blew up his ship! Damned machines! Wait a minute...
I have too many favorite movies. Here's a few of my real favorites that I don't mind watching over and over again.
- Taken
- SuperBad
- Forrest Gump
- Any James Bond film
- Any Star Wars film

Hm, I wonder, does Assassin's Creed: Lineage count as well? It's a 30-min 'film' made by the original voice actors of AC2. It is nearly as damn good as other films I've seen, despite the time. I hope they'll make an actual film of it. Anyways, here it is:

As for the rest, here's a top 5, I guess, whereas 1 is obviously my most favourite.
#1: Star Wars Episodes I-VI (I chose to count them all as one spot, or my top #5 would be over quite quickly, haha);
#2: Armageddon (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Armageddon_(1998_film))
#3: Lord of the Rings (entire trilogy) (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Lord_of_the_Rings_film_trilogy);
#4: The Ring 1 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Ring_(2002_film)) & The Ring 2 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Ring_Two);
#5: Zombi 2 (1979) (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zombi_2).

Haha, you don't have to limit yourself to just 5 movies. :D
I just decided to post my own top 5, but I would've post that previously-mentioned top 101 if I didn't feel I'd bore everyone with such a long list. :p
