.... MNDF, help, I think the brits are starting to outnumber us. I'm scared.

Welcome Jack :D Good to have you with us. If you have any problems, feel free to PM me and I'll help you out.

So what games are you in to? Besides Street Fighter I see.

Thanks for the welcome :) I wish I could tell you I was part Aussie, hell I wish I was part Aussie. :P

I play a variety of games, aforementioned Street Fighter of course, Call of Duty 4 on both PC and X360, Modern Warfare 2 (only on PC though), Battlefield Bad Company 2 on X360 (would play on PC if it could handle it, desperately need a new one!), Dragon Age on X360 (same story with the whole PC thing) and i'm an avid Valve fan, so anything they make (apart from L4D1&2), and I also love me some good single player games like Darksiders.

I'm not very big on racing but I do love Forza 3, I used to play WoW but got bored of how casual it has become, and I am very much looking forward to Guild Wars 2 (so much infact I have reinstalled the first one, but I am awaiting help with my account as I can't remember it's information!)

I wish I could get along with RTS but I can never play them for more than a few days without becoming bored, don't know why it's weird. I'm also looking forward to Diablo 3.

What about you? Anything I should know?

hell I wish I was part Aussie

I know, everyone does - even Jason, but he always denies it.

I play a pretty broad variety actually - usually 360 (its broken at the moment) everything ranging from The Simpsons game to Mass Effect 1/2. And I'm addicted to Heavy Rain at the moment but can only play it on the brother-in-laws PS.

PC games I'm usually playing Medieval 2 Total War, but I'm going to be playing more FPS types when I get the new computer. Not that I'm much good at them. I think the last ones I really played were America's Army when it came out and Battlefield 2.

Oh - and Conker's Bad Fur Day (the original N64 one) is my favorite game - hence the avatar.

I do love Conker. Was it Bad Fur Day when the first level was a D-Day reenactment?

Hello there Jack and welcome to MG, hope you enjoy your stay with us.

Anything you should know ... ?
Uhm.
The Aussie's are currently warring with the Brits in this 'Introduction' section of the board it seems. In fact, probably all over it.

We all bite quite hard ... nah just joking around, this is a really laid back forum.
It's quite enjoyable.
=)

Thank you Steph, i'm sure I will.

The whole war thing between the Brits and the Aussies became apparent to me when I was looking at other introduction threads. I'm happy to oblige my side.

You deprived me of my initial excitement when you said:

nah just joking around

Thanks again. ;)

Oh, well, I'll go back on my joke and say we all do bite hard. That better for you :p

Yeah, I'm still not exactly sure what it is about but anyway ...

Indeed. It's pretty touchy for us Aussies: deep in enemy territory with a British admin -- but we're sufficiently awesome to make up for that little nuance ;)

I'm happy to oblige my side.
It wont do them any good. Between us, Lance and I have been behind the extinction of at least fifty-nine native species of dangerous creature -- and that was mostly in one weekend. All you Brits ever do is drink tea and kick yourselves out of your own colonies :p

Also; welcome :D

 - I'm a big fan of derailing the welcome threads to ensure the seamless integration of the threadstarter into the community, but I think MG is the first site I can recall coming across where the battlelines are redrawn with every new member. :D

Welcome, Jack - pick up your rifle over there by the pile of bullet-ridden Fosters cans. :p

Say, Jason, that first line sounded awfully Borg-ish... anything happen while you were away that you need to tell us about? Assimilation, perhaps?
