Infamous

Had a chance to play it for a few hours today - completed a few missions, went to the dark side of course, did a few side quests but mostly just explored the first area collecting those power thingies.

It's a fantastic game so far, but out of the 3 really similar games of its like (Spiderman: Web of Shadows and Prototype being the others) I think I prefer Spidey the most.

Of course I didn't get to unlock any of the better abilities yet, so I don't have a lot to compare on. I'm thinking though that it's going to be a lot better than Prototype (which wasn't bad by any stretch)

I liked Prototype much more, but I probably can't compare either. I rented Infamous for a week and didn't play it that much to be honest. If I find it cheap, I'll probably buy it.

I rented both, and enjoyed Infamous far more than Prototype. However, I felt Prototype had much more potential as a concept - the difference was that I felt Infamous was executed really well, where every idea was developed as far as it could go, whereas Prototype was full of awesome ideas that weren't fully realised.

Gotta vote for prototype on this one. I just really like that character, how he works, and the mechanics of the game. Infamous is pretty good, but I really loved prototype. I will definitely get the sequel to Infamous though, it was good enough.
