Just out of curiosity. Are any of you in an xbox live clan? If so why are you and what do you like about them?
Personally I've never been interested in them and generally just jump into matches with randomers but I can see the appeal in playing with a bunch of regulars.
Actually I wonder if there'd be any interest in a Mature-Gamers clan with regular games/tournaments? :P
It would be good if MG could be a game-wide clan, as opposed to having specific sections.

Well I can claim to be in a clan because two school freinds made a clan and take it too seriously so I decided that calling myself CIA I Crapshots would annoy them loads with Dropshots and Dragshots deleting me from their freindslist. Then i got another school freind to get them both in a party with him and changed to headshots, one of them actualy cried when i joined the party. XD

Haha that's terrible making your school friends cry =P
Well I s'pose I'm in a clan just on MW2, we play together all the time. Called ourselves 'JAMS' and it stands for Jack, Alex, Michael, Stuart, Steph, Simeon and Zander ... though we couldn't fit the Z in.
Been invited to a clan before that put KillerX before their names. Couldn't be assed changing it to something gay like that ... if I'm paying 800 MS I'm not changing it to KillerXSteph or the like haha.
One of my friends is in that GsA clan. Gamerscore Addicts haha.

Yeah I've never had any inclination to join a major clan like KSI or the likes, and never one that will want me to change my gamertag xD

I've never had any interest in clans at all. I have friends who I play with and organise games with, which suits my needs perfectly. 'Competitive' gaming has never really been something I've been even remotely interested in.

I belong to two Clans
My COD-MW2 clan is the Pork Chop Platoon. We play most all of the FP military shooters. We are always looking to have a mixer with other folks.
I also belong to a Halo clan called the Halo Tards nothing but Halo here.
I enjoy Clans for the simple fact you know who your playing with/ or against, the glitching is eliminated when you can fill a lobby, its like gaming with your mates down at the pub. Good times.

Oh yeah, I definitely agree that a game full of players you know is great fun. I remember back when I used to run the official forum games over on Left4DeadForums, it was an absolute scream.

I'm not in a clan for any 360 game, but I was part of an Australian clan in the original OFP back in the day. Our games were at my 4AM, so very often, I couldn't use a mic. :D
It was fun. Everyone was some sort of specialist... a friend could shoot helicopters (and sometimes planes!) out of the sky as a tank gunner.

I have thought about it before, but with my lifestyle I really can't make appointments for my gaming. Gotta stick with random or friends for now.
