Gameplay: Just tried the game with the free weekend on steam. 2 minutes into the game, my first impression of the game controls and general feel, felt too poorly and way to "cheap". I was expecting a little more of a game that takes up 10gb of my HD. Haven't tried the MP, but frankly i didn't feel like it after trying the SP. Defiantly a game i would not recommend to anyone.

Overall Gamescore: I give the game a total gamescore of 4/10.

I really didn't think a Spaghetty Westren-inpired FPS will be this good. The setting is very authentic and it's a real eye candy. The game mechaincs are nothing to talk about, another average normal shooter, but that's not an issue when you're enjoying the excellent music, voice acting, wild west enviroment and story. It's the kind of game you'll remember experiencing (not playing, though) for a long time. I don't have a Gold Live account so I have no idea how the MP is like but I imagine it's not that much. There's no reason not to play this game unless you really, really hate Wild West-related creative creations. I'd recommend renting it (like I did) it's very short.

Overall Gamescore:8.5

Last game I played was Medieval: Total War 2, but I only got through the tutorial, so it'd be a touch unfair to really review it on that. So I'll go with Dragon Age: Origins.

Game: Dragon Age: Origins (PS3)
Genre: RPG
Multiplayer: No
Graphics: 6/10
Sound: 8/10
Gameplay: 9/10
I have to say, whilst I do get the impression the PS3 version was a distinct afterthought, Dragon Age: Origins is still an excellent game. The sound is good without being mindblowing, but the visuals are -by the PS3's standards- frankly, fairly bland, with the occasional graphics hiccup thrown in for good measure. Fortunately, the gameplay is strong enough to more than make up for that, with some good old-school swords and sorcery RPGing. It's no Baldur's Gate II in size (thank god!), but it'll take even the hardcore gamer a good couple of days of solid playthrough on Normal difficulty. It has it's frustrating battles, but very rarely are there any battles that can't be beaten by a quick trip back to the 'change party' screen and a slight change in tactics.

Overall Gamescore: 8/10
