It appears that the faster the gaming industry grows, the bigger and better stars from Hollywood it's attracting. Last year's Call of Duty: World at War featured 24 star Kiefer Sutherland, Bethseda's excellent RPG The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion featured voiceover work from Patrick Stewart, and let's not forget Liam Neeson's starring role as the player's enigmatic father in Fallout 3.

Well, it appears that the latest A-lister to get in on the act is one Martin Sheen. Yes, that's right - the star of the awesome Apocalypse Now (as well as the voice of Sly Sludge in the kids TV show Captain Planet and the Planeteers) has been confirmed as the voice of the interestingly named (or badly spelled) "Illusive Man". Exactly how major his role will be is yet to be revealed, but you can guarantee that he didn't come cheap, and therefore BioWare will probably be looking to get their money's worth.

Never really got around to try the first game. I will surely give it a go, if they decide to release a demo.

Ah, you missed out on a half-price weekend deal on Steam last week - was only about $10 I believe.

I rented it back when my 360 still worked, and I have to say I was pretty impressed. It's not quite Deus Ex (but then, will anything ever be?), but it's an excellent RPG with some really tough decisions to make at times. I highly recommend it.

Deus Ex on Steam (http://store.steampowered.com/app/6910/) - sure it's not particularly pretty any more, but it's a classic - you really have to play it at least once. :)

I like hearing famous people as voice actors, it makes things a lot more interesting. You have to wander how much it cost EA to hire Martin Sheen.

Captain Planet... how I loved that show. I have the theme song on my phone if I recall correctly...

Anyway, Mass Effect 2... I don't much care what the name behind the voice is so long as they're good enough to fit their role.
