I pre-ordered my copy around a month ago. Been itching for a long time now to get my hands on the game, which will be released this Tuesday.
Anyone else got the game pre-loaded on steam?

I might get it later after Christmas. Way to many other games out there to get. I still need to catch up on my summer games: Red Faction, Batman I haven't even played these games yet!

I have it pre-ordered, but for some reason I'm no longer really excited for it.

I have the game pre-ordered and pre-loaded, but am also struggling to get excited. Of course, this may be more down to the fact that I'm dying of flu at the moment and anything that doesn't involve cough mixture or flu tablets is a fairly low priority. :p

Oh damn, yeah that swine flu is a bastard. I heard that Kermit the frog passed away, allegedly as the first victim of the flu :p

Yeah, isn't it great that your government tells you what you're allowed to play and not?

Did you try out the demo? I wasn't very excited when i first tried the demo, because it was too short. I easily get bored of games, if they're to repetitive.

Technically it's on disgruntled old man who just happens to be in a position to VETO a R18+ rating on games who's telling us what we can or can't play... you can decide whether that's better or worse -_-

I seriously think that it's none of their business, as most times they have no idea what they are talking about, nor do they know anything about the games they're banning. It pisses me off that some stupid cunt(s) can have it their way, without even listening to the public..
Having played the demo, I am kind of lukewarm on buying it. It just seems like more of the same stuff, just different weapons and a couple of new infected.
I think I almost have as much fun playing third party maps on L4D instead.
I dunno, maybe I will, but I have no burning desire to get it right now.

I'm definitely getting it. Especially since I didn't get the first one.
I was going to pre-order it but I missed it :(
So for those who have it, how is it?

I quite like it - if you didn't play the first one, then I particularly recommend it. Sometimes the community is a little on the idiotic side, which is a shame as the game RELIES on co-op, but it's worth putting up for when you get that one good game with 3 decent folk and all hell breaks loose but you still somehow survive. L4D/L4D2 have a kind of 'magic' going when they really work well that just blows most other co-op games out of the water.

Perhaps we could set up a MatureGamers clan.
That way we'll have mature gamers for a good co-op game.

Been playing the hell out of L4D2 ever since i got it. Me and friend just got a L4D2 server a few days ago. Got a small steam community group (http://steamcommunity.com/groups/pwnthree), so if you want play on a server without always having to deal with public douchebags, check it out :)
