View Full Version : What was the last thing you did in-game?

Jason

Simple enough, just tell us all what your last heroic (or comical) deed in-game was. Feel free to litter it with exaggerations and factual inaccuracies.

My last deed: Falling several thousand feet after missing a difficult jump across an ice chasm in Uncharted 2.

Slaughtered literally a few hundred Chaos cultists. With my bare bloody hands--or, rather, those of two Vindicare assassin's under my control.

This was in Dawn of War.

I spent about ten minutes trying to decide between the armor that was cool looking, and the armor that have me six times as much defence in torchlight.

I spent 40 minutes killing monsters and gathering materials before realizing I only had 10 minutes to complete my current mission. I managed to find the quest monster and right before I could kill him he ran off. DAMN. -Monster Hunter Freedom Unite

I spent the first 20 or so levels of the game being raped every time something touched me because I wanted to look like a pirate... >.>

Turned Keith Jardine's face inside out with a brutal left hook, then leapt on his semi-conscious body and proceeded to punch him in the face until I was dragged off of him.

An assassination target stupidly decided to escape me by climbing up to the rooftops. I lept over him on one such rooftop jump as he made a poor jump that caused him to hang onto the ledge. I was able to effortlessly land on my feet on the same roof and stood direcly in front of him, waiting for him to climb up. He did so and swiftly met both of my hidden blades. Easiest assassination of a major target so far, really. Even getting to him was easier because of the thieves I hired along to come with me for distracting most of the other guards.

Staged a storming comeback in Modern Warfare 2 on the PS3 - from being 4-12 at one point (4 kills, 12 deaths), a quick change to my 'assault' class (UMP45, Striker, Stun/Semtex, Marathon/Lightweight/Ninja) pushed me onto a final score of 15-13 and my team's MVP. I even made one guy ragequit. :D

I spent 40-60 minutes figuring out how to activate the core of the Visual Intelligence (VI)on Noveria (Mass Effect). I wanted to figure it out myself, rather than looking it up. After a while I managed to realize that I was suppose to get them to the right side, starting from downwards, going upwards instead of vice versa.

So I'm playing Saint's Row 1 and right where the Kingz Drug Trafficking mini-game is, there's a ramp jump over a tug boat.

I was in a Slingshot at the time and decided to see if I could make it over the tugboat. Well, suffice to say it didn't, it crashed straight in to it. What was funny about it though, was that without even getting out of the car, I was shot (on fire) about a mile in to the air - straight up like a rocket. It was quite amusing to watch (and a bit annoying since I had to drive allll the way back to start the mission.

WELL I put on my d-bag hat and played some MW2.
I was determined to finish all the barret challenges before I hit 70 and I only needed 31 more headshots to get fall camo.
SO. I played a zillion games, raged, caused people to rage, and FINALLY got fall camo.
I got it right in the beginning of a round of domination & I didnt feel like leaving, SO I stayed, got a care package (Why is she still using care package???), got an AC130 (thats why), beasted, did the both barrels challenge & got the "mmm...brains" title for the lols, pulled 95% of the weight on my team, and we ended up winning 200-199....Trying to cap points with only a barret & a raffica in wasteland without cold blooded. not fun. (I did go positive though ^.^)

That made me laugh, I especially liked the bit about care packages. I say the same thing to myself.

Last thing I did in game ... uhm ... Wasn't that exciting, I was nearly passing out at 4am playing Hardcore TD in Rundown.

Rundown sucks on Hardcore as everyone just camps.

I was running around like a mad hatter with the Famas, dying all over the place. So by this point I had a basic idea of where they were all camping and I decided to try out my ninja skills, sneaking up on a few and stabbing them. But I really didn't redeem all my deaths.

Hate campers.

It will always amaze me how no-one has managed to make a good 'cars smashing into each other for lolz' game since Destruction Derby 2 (or Carmageddon 2, whichever was more recent). It's a pretty simple formula, you'd think it'd be pretty hard to screw up.

I've seen it, it's rather grotesque.
It's different to Saw though in my opinion. Sort of.

Isn't it the one where They all wake up inside this room (shaped like a cube obv) and all the doors out of the room have numbers on it and it's apparently a maths formula/equation they need to work out. But they have to find out which cubes are safe etc.

The first time I noticed they were properly hacking was when I died by knife even though he was about 15 metres away from me, so I watched the killcam and he's got tactical knife set up but you definitely couldn't get me from that distance and I watched as his knife moved and a hit marker appeared as I died. Still like 15 metres away. So that was it for me, I had to win.
