Gosh, after playing Fallout 3 for a few days, Black Ops is almost too fast for me...

You grow into the Fallout-Black ops transition. I played New Vegas for weeks, then went straight to BlOps. God it was awful.
But now I can play fallout & black ops without the hassle ! ^_^ After weeks of vigorous gaming!

You should try the "Mirror's Edge and Just Cause 2" to "Battlefield BC2" transition.

I keep trying to use my grappling hook or climb up walls and shit... so annoying that I can't. Makes me want to play some sort of Mirror's Edge+Just Cause 2+BC2 amalgam in which you can do all the parkour, have a grappling hook and it's a good FPS.

I remember going from Left 4 Dead to MW2. I kept flashbanging myself constantly when I tried to crouch.

The other way around, I'd be reloading all the time instead of crouching.

It was slightly frustrating.

I was doing a challenge. And it ment to have 75 kills with a certain weapon in 40 minutes or hour or something. Anyway.. I started a new match and saw that I had 3 seconds left with the challenge and needed TWO more kills. So damn irritating! :D Should have just played free for all and not team deathmatch. Because my teammates always manage to come around when I have almost killed someone and then they get the credit for it. ARGH

I don't do them anymore, because I have reached level 50. A quick question for the pros... is the prestige mode worth the hassle?

Well, there's never any real benefit to prestiging other than the emblem by your name, extra classes, and, in this game, gold camo.

Saying that, I've prestiged twice because it keeps me interested in the game. Plus the emblems are pretty.

So it's worth it, depending upon what you're going for, I guess.

They're different slots, I think. Second chance is slot 3 (Gas Mask/Hacker/SC/Ninja?) and Scavenger is slot 1 (Scavenger/Hardline/Lightweight/something else).

Sometimes you just make all the wrong moves :D It's ridiculous how in some games I always manage to go exactly where that one person is. And they will manage to kill me easily like 12 times. And there is really nothing I can do about it, because it's not like they come to my face, they come from the back or side or something. Mainly it's someone who has a penis as their emblem.. Then I gladly use the report button :D Lame I know, but seeing a penis there is just so very offensive to me :lol:

I haven't got either of the packs yet - I refuse to pay that kind of money for a small handful of maps. If it was a larger selection for the same price (say ten), or the price was more reasonable for four multiplayer maps and a zombie mode (which I don't play) map, then I'd consider it, but £10 for four and a half maps is robbery.

Of course, if it's someone else's money... :D
