I'm sure most of us will be pretty busy over the next week or two so I want to take the time now to wish you all a warm and happy holiday. I will be around here lurking on my free time. An occasional blip on the radar :)

I made this thread so we can pop in and write about the good (and bad) food or the great games we get to play during the holidays. With all the deals going on through Steam I don't think I will find myself bored at all. Now i'm off to relax on the couch as I attempt to watch the entire Heroes series.

Indeed, very happy holidays to all of you, MGers!

We hope your respective holidays periods allow you plenty of time to play games and get well and truly plastered! (Although in MNDF's case, this may not differ much to his daily routine...)

I... it... uh... dammit. He's right.

Enjoy your holidays my fellow gamers, may you get at least as drunk as I will!

(note: if yours is a 'family' Christmas, I don't recommend it :p)

Forget games! Aunt, 3 cousins, 2 friends, and the family this Christmas eve. Even more people tomorrow. And then the aunt plus cousins will be staying a couple more days after that. Actually, there probably will be some gaming with one of my cousins during some of that time, but truth be told: the best of times can certainly be had without videogames.

After that though, I need to decide whether to job hunt and stay with family (dad isn't around much) or go to CA trip with a friend for new years. What do you think?

California is cold right now :(

I had a ton of fun tonight and ate so much turkey that I can barely keep my eyes open. Zzz

Merry Christmas, all!

I am already done doing my festivities but had good times. This was the twin's first christmas, not that they'll remember it, so it was special. We didn't play games much since time was mostly spent eating and talking, but we did play a game where my Dad had random movie scores play and we all tried guessing the movie faster than everyone else. My brother and I are pretty keen on movie scores so we fared pretty well. Good times.

Now we didn't play video games as part of the festivities but video games were part of the presents! I got Assassin's Creed 2 from my wife and she got Zelda: Spirit Tracks (DS) from me :)

Happy Holidays to all of you guys!

My Christmas was great, as always. Big family reunion with my father's side of the family. A ridiculous amount of great food, premium alcohol, good presents, but most importantly, the company of loved ones!

I got pretty drunk, with a shot of tequila, almost half a bottle of rum, some glasses of wine and champagne, and about a dozen beers. Still, I was sober compared to everyone else. :D

I'm gonna spend New Year's Eve with my core family, my aunt and two of my cousins in Austin, Texas. I've been to Texas plenty of times, but never to Austin. Looking forward to it. :)
