... I'm getting too old for this shit.
A carton of Beam, a stack of action movies and Boxing Day night... and now, after fifteen hours of drinking and 24ish hours of not sleeping, I'm so damn hungover...
Anyone else feeling the repercussions of the holiday season?
Thankfully I didn't feel "pain" this year, but I know what you mean. Juice/aspirin/soups are your friend. :-)

I tend to sleep on a regular schedule on the breaks and do all nighters otherwise. haha
Been eating a lot of sugar, so I'm feeling that. Fudge.

I couldn't, I stopped drinking barely in time to be sober for my ladyfriend's arrival... still haven't rested... but the hangover is nothing but a few remnants now.
Nothing like a day of not resting to get over a night of not sleeping.

I was like that once; I barely slept through school time and didn't sleep at all on breaks. Now I'm 17 and feeling the pinch of old age...

God damn kids :p
Been drinking for a couple of days, but rarely get drunk enough to feel the "pain" the day after. Doing a "all nighter" ain't as easy as it used to be. I prefer regular sleep instead of staying up all night, but sometimes it happens if I've had to much coffee.

I do all nighters at least twice a week due to my shift pattern. Outside of work, my personal record is 42 hours without sleep when I went to see a couple of friends at University in Lincoln. That was a good weekend.
Fifteen hours of drinking and it didn't hit you? You sir are the man of steel.

You're 17 and feeling old? I think somethings wrong there. I'm 17 and feeling younger :\

My record was 8am wake up, gaming through till 9pm (pretty much non-stop), where I relocated to an internet cafe a group of people I'm friendly with own, I played there until midday the next day.
So 4hrs + 9 hrs = 13hrs at home.
Then roughly 3hrs + 12hrs = 15hrs..
28hrs all up?
God I have to work on this record...

I've not slept for three days and most of the next day, so that's about 80 hours. However, that was not intentional. That was what those of us in the profession (any profession, really) call insomnia. It's not fun. Except when you're so tired that you have slight hallucinations... that's pretty fun.
And the week during which you're awake for about 4 hours afterwards, that's pretty cool too.

The trick is to keep drinking. So long as you're drinking you wont feel a thing... until your liver fails... which is bad... so... uh... yeah...

Nah, I only feel old compared to myself about a year ago when I did this sort of thing often enough to do it with very little repercussion.
17 is young and invincible! :D

Damn straight. Not even driving into a truck at 80KM/H can stop us youngens!
I mean... I'm really stirred from a truck turning into me when I was doing 60KM/H through a green light... >.>

I had another car hit my drivers' side door doing 80km/h and have nothing but a tiny scar on my knee to show for it. Looks like us 17 year olds truly are invincible!

Pffft, you're all green. :D
I have diagnosed insomnia since I was a kid. I typically sleep 9 hours every two days or so. And about every month, I'll pull 3 days without sleep.
My personal record is 6 days and 18 hours without sleep. I was hallucinating out of exhaustion from day 4 on, but I just kept on going for a while. Needless to say, when I finally went to bed, I slept for 21 hours straight.

I'm only 26, but I think I've lived the life of someone older than me at a younger age. I'm sick of clubbing, alcohol makes me sick now (was a big time alcoholic, would even bring liquor to work, no joke,) hate weed now.
But I partied on New Years, and god damn can Japanese people party for small people! I was out drank by an 80 year old... I feel sad.
Forgot to mention I just don't get drunk like I used to. I have to drink a shit load, then I get a pretty good buzz, then shitty hangover the next day.
^ I'm the same way. My liver barely survived the last 10 years so I don't drink anymore. When I am dumb enough to give it another go I end up paying for it the next day.

Fortunately, my ability to drink has been heavily curbed by the fact I now live in a small village about 5 miles from the nearest interesting nightlife. As a result, if I want to go out, I'm usually driving and therefore won't drink.
I'm probably so out of practice by now I'd be hammered after two pints anyway. :p
