Diablo III ?

Does anyone know when we can play Diablo III ? The videos and the pictures were around for two years now, and nothing came out ..

Any ideas or news ?

No news of a release date as far as I'm aware. Just have to sit patiently and wait for Blizzard to do their thing... if only they hadn't started hype building so soon...

There is no "official" release date, most are speculating sometime towards the summer of '10 to the end of '10.

The last update to the D3 site was on 8/21/2009. Why do they make us suffer?

A couple of snippets here from http://diablo.incgamers.com - it appears that the elusive 'Female Monk' (combat nun?) class will finally be revealed soon, and that according to a recent post on the official forums, the number of people working on the game has nearly doubled from 40 to 70.

Of course, there's still no 'real' concrete information, but it wouldn't be Blizzard if there was. :p

I'm worried about the number of spellcasters... that all seem terribly similar...

With new skills and a more accessible skill bar I can overlook any similarities to D2. I played through the first couple areas at Blizzcon and the game looks and plays pretty well. I like the idea of getting health vials dropped from mobs so you can keep on rolling through a level. When this game comes out I think I might quit life for awhile so I can focus on D3 :) jk

I don't mean similarities to D2, I mean similarities to each other.

In D2 the spellcasters were worlds apart: summoner, caster, shapeshifter, traps, buff. But these characters aren't showing me all too much major difference... but then, maybe that's just the lack of real information that's been released.
