There's been news of what's coming next to Modern Warfare 2 after some hackers found it out and Craig Fairbass (Ghost) leaked a little.

Firstly, Craig Fairbass leaked that he has been called back to do some more voicing for the game, maybe even a Ghost spin-off title. Also, he may be used in Spec Ops or as the announcer in multi-player games which leads to what the hackers found.

Apparently, hackers found secret, locked content on the disc already which includes 3 more multi-player modes. These will be VIP, One Flag CTF and Global Thermonuclear War modes. This will more than likely be available soon on (paid) DLC.

VIP
Will play much like Counter Strike's Hostage game.

One Flag CTF
Does what it says on the tin

Global Thermonuclear War
A car sized nuke will be placed in the centre of the map which needs to be detonated by one team. By yourself, it will take 1 minute 40 seconds to detonate.

This is all the news on it so far.

Moved to General Gaming, MW2 isn't an X-Box exclusive. :p

This looks interesting, but all the people who said MW2 wont be moddable to make money on DLC will have a ball. Im sure we all look forward to it.

I find myself playing MW2 more often then any other game right now. More content will make my obsession deepen.

It does annoy me to know there is content on the disc that I have to pay for later. Paid DLC should be reserved for major upgrades or expansions to the game.

Agree with Rob. I've already paid £40 odd for the disc so I should have the right to use it fully, not pay even more =/ I heard it may be out February time, i think.

Meh. The only mode there that particularly interests me is the VIP mode, although I imagine it'll be more like the VIP mode in Metal Gear Online (I think... It's been ages since I played it), where one person is the VIP, and the other team can only score points by killing them. Personally, I'd rather see the 'hostage' mode, as it sounds a lot more tactical and interesting.
Still, I don't think IW or Activision are going to be getting any more money out of me unless this is very cheap DLC.

Judging by how insanely popular the game is I bet the DLC is at least $10-$15.

If you want a tactical game then take a look at BF: Bad Company 2. Dice are trying to make it revolve around team play and not just your normal MW2, running about anywhere.

Yeah, I might well have a look at that, although so far the Battlefield games haven't impressed me overly.

Would be great if these new features were free, I also wish there was hardcore FFA, I prefer FFA over most modes in MW2 but regular FFA sucks, hardcore is the only way to go.

I totally agree on hardcore modes. Why are there not more modes with FF enabled? I'm not a huge fan of sprinting around and firing at anything that moves. I enjoy hardcore mode (all 2 of them :( ) because people actually take cover and move as a team. For a game called modern warfare its to bad that they placed barely any emphasis on realism.

I still enjoy the game but that is its biggest flaw.

Nothing exciting for me, as I don't play it online... but a Ghost spin-off could be pretty amusing.
