We're on a roll this week - not only do I spoil you all with new buttons, but I've also added a new toy for you all to play with: Quick Quote.
To use it, all you have to do is drag your left-mouse button over the text you want to quote, hit the 'Quick' button in the bottom right corner of the post, and hey presto, the text you selected, along with the username and link to the post in question will magically appear in the Quick Reply box.
Now don't say I never do anything for you. :p

I was hoping for a diamond ring, but I guess this is nifty as well.

I never do anything for you.
There, I said it.
Mostly because I needed to complete the hatrick going on here of people quoting that single phrase.
Anyway. Nice feature. It could certainly come in handy. If possible (which it should be, really, as my understanding of basic coding principles tells me), you should perhaps consider seeing if you can make the button not reset the contents of the quick reply box, so that each time you click the Quick Quote button, it'll add that quote to whatever message you've already started typing. Because as I just tested, if you type some stuff, then try and quick quote, you lose everything you typed. Would be nice if you didn't, for excellent Quick multi-quoting capabilities.
Still quite nice, though.

Hmmm. I've just tested that, and it works fine for me. What browser are you using?

Arch must've been sober when he posted that first post.

Also (because it didn't really warrant a thread on its own), I've added the ability to share threads on Facebook and Twitter, just in case you feel the need to spread the word of MG to all your friends.
Just scroll down to the 'bookmarks' bar (just above the quick reply box), and give the relevant icon a click. Simple as.

I'm using Opera 11 and it's not working?
It does not include message, only username and tags...

I was using firefox at school. Now I'm using firefox at home and it works. Creepy.
EDIT: Nvm, I clicked quote. Yeah, the quick button doesn't work. It just adds the quotes without text and when you click submit nothing happens.

Dumb question, but are you highlighting the text you want to quote?

It works perfectly fine for me. Complete with not-deleting-what's-been-written-before-action. This is on Chrome: The Beta.

Not really. Normally the button is supposed to read your mind and quote exactly what you were thinking, this is just the trial version of the plugin though - thus, limited functionality. :p
