I've not touched Photoshop seriously in... oh, feth, it'd be a couple years now, probably. But here's a thread (http://www.mature-gamers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=16500) with a few of the signatures I've made in my time.

Those are quite nice. I like the cross-hatching that you've used as a part of the blending in the Dexter sig.

Nice work, what version of Photoshop are you using? I've been using Photoshop for years and I don't think that I could do without it anymore. Currently I'm running CS5 Extended, it came in the copy of Adobe Master Collection that I picked up a few months back. There's some really great software in that bundle.

I've used both CS3 and CS4. I have CS5 at the moment but haven't touched it.

I used it all the time for my photography. Sadly, the camera has not been seriously picked up in a few months and neither has Photoshop. The last thing resembling an assignment i've had was taking some bunny pictures for my lady. Little job satisfaction, totally no profit. :p I still keep Photoshop CS5 around just in case though. :p

I was using CS2 then I jumped over CS3 & 4 and went to CS5 when the Master Collection came out. There were quite a few differences and improvements over the version that I had been using previously. I use it pretty much everyday.

Konrad, I used to be pretty heavy into photography then I kind of let it languish and now I can't remember the last time I picked up a camera seriously. Its a shame I really enjoyed photography but real life seemed to conspire against it.

I have the CS3 master suite at the moment, I want to get CS5 but I haven't got enough money for that.

We use CS3 and 4 at work. I am a production manager for a classifieds paper and I do web design at home.

At work, I use a Mac Pro with CS3. (Time for a software upg)

At home, I use CS4 Master Suite. I know I'll probably stir things up, but the Mac version is so much more dependable than the PC version. I don't know why. I have issues with Flash and Fireworks frame rate settings and getting it to "do what it's supposed to".

All in all, I wouldn't use any other software for what I do. Since I've been using Adobe since 1988, it's tough for me to walk away from the suites. I used to dig Freehand by Macromedia and Flash started with them also I think. Ahhh...the good ol' days of printing color separations and using mylar to make a color page for the press.

Well, it's time for my Geritol. See ya!

Actually I probably wouldn't argue with you with regards to Macs being better for multimedia. I'm not a huge fan of most Apple products (iPods aside), but if I was of the creative persuasion (sadly I'm probably closer to Autistic than Artistic), I'd definitely look at a Mac for that kind of thing - because they're so widely used in that field, their design is geared towards it, and software is designed to work well with them.

Now the iPad on the other hand... *reaches for soapbox* :p

(iPods aside)

:/. iPods are the worst of the bloody lot. Goddamn British twat.

As MNDF says back up in the first comment, I haven't touched Photoshop in roughly the same duration of time that he hasn't. We were both pretty dandy with it back in the day, though. I'm not going to make a pretty thread with my stuff, though, on account of not having the time right now, and not feeling the need to show off that much.

Still, if I had large amounts of time available to me, and some inspiration/motivation, I could probably get back into fairly easily.

Aye, I've considered getting back into 'shopping a few times and it always comes down to "I can't be bothered collecting brushes/fonts/etc again"... which is lazier than you think, because all I'd have to do is get them off the other PC in the house...

Sigh. I always seem to end up forsaking the idea of 'shopping for reading, painting (40k models, that is) and doing nothing. Shame, really, as I need a signature to wear around these parts...
