I have no real idea of how much i spend on games every year, nor do i really want to know exactly :D

I mostly buy my games through Steam deals or other discount deals. If there is a game i really want, i most likely wait until the prize drop, or in some cases i just go and buy it anyway.

So how much do you guess you spend on games on a yearly basis?

According to steam I spent a bit under $300 on video games in 2009. I didn't buy anything retail so it should be pretty accurate. Though, this year my game spending has taken a huge rise - mostly due to all those dang steam sales.

It's shameful really. I should cut down.

Steam deals hit me hard as well. My bricknmortar purchases were limited to a few console games(MW2 xbox/ps3). Almost all of my games were purchased digitally from steam/psn/xbl. I learned what impulse buying feels like when the credit bill rolls in at the end of the month. This year I think ill just try and finish what I already spent money on.

Haven't used STEAM that long and never really bothered buying games online at all. I prefer to go to a nearby store, rather than buy 'em online. Not to mention online payment is being a pain to me. Ever since I got this new card, paypal (and most other payment methods) say that the card security key is invalid, whilst it's not.

Anyway, I usually spend around €500-600 buying games each year. Of course, this depends on whether the game releases are good in said year.

I generally buy an average of one $60 game a month, depending on whether there are any games that interest me. Of course, there are also additional bits and pieces like DLC, pads, mice and so on...

You know, first I was sad that I was choosing the $300-$800 bracket, but then I saw I wasn't alone and I was all

Yeah, $300-$800 for me too, but some years I do go over the $1,000 line...

300 - 800 the sad thing is I have games that have never been played. Can't let them go, I have visions of weeks of back to back gaming. I hope this happens while I can still remember why I have them.

Hmm I have no idea. I usually play it through and then sell it away. And most of the times I sell it for more than I payed for it. There are only a few games that I keep to myself. If they have any kind of replay value or achievements left to do. So it's impossible to say what it's in a year

$50-$100 to be honest. Not many games grab my attention. For the original Xbox I used to buy games all the time. With the 360, it's just every now and then I grab something.
