n00b Steam question

if i uninstall a game i bought on Steam, will it's entry stay in my game library so that i may reinstall it again later? or will i have to go hunting through the game store to find it again?

It will stay under your library tab forever and ever. Just select it and press install.

make sure you register your account (give it your email) in case your computer dies, so all your game info is saved & you can reinstall on another computer if need be!

Can you install Steam on more than one PC for the same account at the same time?

You can (ie, you can have Steam installed on both a desktop and a laptop at the same time, and have any combination of games from your library installed on either), but for obvious reasons, you can only be logged into Steam on one machine at a time.
