Hi everyone, what mouse do you currently use? It doesn't have to be a gaming mouse, but bonus points if it is.

I use the Cyborg R.A.T 7:

0.0 Is that a mouse or a stealth fighter?

In any case I use a Razer DeathAdder 3500dpi

Looks nice! I had a Razer mouse before, it was the Lachesis. Never had a problem with it, and it was comfortable to use while gaming.

I... that mouse looks ridiculous, Mick (Mike? Mikey? M-no, M is Betty... mm, I think Mick. Dundee. Yes... yes, that will do)...

I have a Logitech MX5500:

It's got enough buttons for my needs and the hyperfast scrolling feature arouses me to no end.

I used to roll with a Razer Diamondback 3G, until a bunny chewed through the cord. I loved the thing, it was probably one of the very few gaming mice on the market that weren't huge and have a million buttons. Unfortunately, they don't appear to sell it anymore and all other Razer products seem to take pride in being humongous.

So, as part of my savings-and-lazy initiative for the past few weeks I have been using this crazy small portable laptop mouse. I basically only touch the thing with my fingerstips.

Why not look at the one I have. I got it for $50 AUS and it is a Razor brand with only 5 buttons including scrollwheel?

A good friend of mine used the DeathAdder, and while being a very nice mouse - it was too large for my taste. In terms of size, I generally like to have my wrist resting on my mousepad, not the mouse itself, like the case was with the DeathAdder. I don't actually need to have a Razer mouse, I only got that brand because I specifically wanted my Diamondback which just felt oh-so-nice and comfortable in my hand.

I just lack the time and willpower to find something similarly sized by a different brand.

My wrist actually does rest on the pad, the one I have is small enough for that. I haven't seen the other Razer mouses aside from this one, so I am not sure about the going size for the others; but this is small enough.

At first it's a little intimidating, but you get used to it. I like it because you can change the weight and length of it, and also move around the pinkie or thumb rests. That red little button on the left side reduces your sensitivity by 50%, so when you're sniping it helps out a bit.

The mouse you have is better than using a laptop mouse pad!

Mine's a bog-standard Microsoft Intellimouse. Considering the amount of gaming I do though, I should probably look to get a better one. Maybe when I upgrade from this lappy.

so it's size and weight are adjustable? that's pretty interesting. can't imagine how much that costs. >_<

initial thoughts were omg its a transformer but on closer inspection (and a bit of searching) some very goos points and myself like jason uses a crappy old mouse so you might inspire us both to upgrade

After this Logitech mouse I currently have, I don't think I could switch brands. The 'hyper-fast scrolling' mechanic they have (scroll beyond a certain pace and the wheel will spin freely) is just... orgasmic. I didn't realise how much I loved it until I was web browsing on my parents computer and couldn't get to the bottom of a page with a single flick of my finger.

<3 my mouse.

It would make sense that, an hour after I post that, my mouse dies for a good couple of minutes before I manage to repair it with the tried and true "hit it on something" methodology...

Seems like I might need a new one soon after all... :(

Sounds like we all need a new mouse, should do a bulk order and maybe get a discount. :p

My brother has that R.A.T 7 :)
I like to keep it a little more simple. I am currently using the Razer Habu mouse.
I just finished adding blue lights into my tower, so the blue from the mouse isn't out of place anymore.
Overall I love this mouse. It's simple, sleek, and comfortable on the hands.

Yeah, I just have a Logitech MX400 Performance Laser Mouse. It's not a gaming mouse, or anything terribly fancy. It's just nice. It fits in the hand nicely, isn't heavy or bulky, is sleek, and only has all the buttons you want it to have. IE, left mouse, right mouse, middle mouse, forward/back buttons, plus sidescroll on the mouse wheel.

It does its job. And it does it without fail. I really have no need for paying money for anything else, because I have very little need for upgrading.
