In other words, which console did you miss the first time around that you really wish you hadn't?

-----------

For me it's the SNES. I was always a SEGA kid, and as such had the Mega Drive. I then moved to the PC for a bit, and then onto the Playstation. Unfortunately, this meant I missed out on a lot of classics, like the later 2D Mario games, the original Mario Kart, Megaman series and the International Superstar Soccer games.
Granted there were some excellent SEGA-exclusive games too, and there were probably more to be honest, but I do feel like I missed out a bit.

NES. I apparently missed a few big games on that system. I never have owned one. I was a SEGA kid as well and loved my SEGA systems and games. There were, apparently, a lot more games on the NES though.

Looking back I remember wanting a Playstation and a Sega Saturn. If I had to pick I would definately go with the PS. I ended up with an SNES when my friend had a PS. We used to hang out at each others house and bring both consoles so we could try and convince each other who had the better one. In the end I think both consoles were great in their own ways.

Probably the PS2. That's the only console I've really liked and even wanted and haven't eventually gotten. Wouldn't be a problem if my PS3 was backwards compatible, but oh well... you can't have everything. :P

The Neo Geo, Turbo Graphix and the 3D0. I have a pretty large collection stemming from the Atari 2600, but those.........well I never got my hands on them, still looking though. I saw a 3D0 by Panasonic I believe some time ago in Florida, but it was like $500 at the time!

Patience though, if I managed to get a Virtual Boy and a Jaguar I'm pretty sure those elusive three will fall in my hands some day.

Playstation, probably. And SNES, but mostly Playstation. And PS2. I was a Sega kid too, so I was always into Dreamcast and Saturn and all that.

Have a PS now and really enjoy some of the games, but you miss out on the "Wow, this game is amazing!" when you play it years later.
