Found a problem with the site? Let us know here.

Not to big of a problem but I thought I would mention it. On Firefox your site is just a little bit to big so you have that horizontal scroll bar but it only moves less than a cm.

Interesting - what resolution are you using?

I don't have that, but I'm on a 22" widescreen at 1650x1080 so that could be why.

I'm using a 15.4" widescreen at 1280x800 and it's ok on mine.

right now I am 1152x864 on an old CRT monitor. I think the problem is probably my resolution.

It might be - I'll try the site out on a couple of lower resolutions and see how it works out. A lot of people still use 1024x768, so we have to cater to all.
Thanks for reporting! :)

This isn't so much a bug or glitch, but right now my tread subscription emails being sent to me are going in the spam box. I am using Yahoo. I don't know how you would go about fixing this, I am pretty sure that my registration email didn't go into the spam folder.

I'm not sure what I can do to sort that one - have you thought about adding "admin@mature-gamers.com" to your safe list or address book? That should ensure anything from us doesn't go to your junk folder.

Alright, I'll try that out.

There's a simple fix for the issue. Many people are/will be getting the scroll bar if the banner you currently have is not downsized a bit.
Currently the image is http://www.mature-gamers.com/forums/images/permatang/MGB2.jpg
1106x165 This means the forum table will never be able to re-size themselves in your members browsers below 1106px. I'm not sure this is an option for you, as it appears your banner is also covering up something in the template. If you'd like a hand at sorting the issue, I'd be glad to help you.
To test this, take your browser window out of Max mode, and put it into a scalable-re-sizable window. Now crunch the window horizontally. See how the table auto-resize themselves? ...up to a point. Until they hit the banner image. Then the browser will auto-scroll bar at the bottom at this point. IE resizing your banner image to something around 800px or less should add more flexibility and generate less bug reports. Hope this helps.

After taking at look, I've been able to sort the problems. http://www.mature-gamers.com/forums/images/permatang/permatang_logo.gif seems to be the original logo associated with this particular theme.
Do you have FTP access? I'll assume so if you did the vbulletin install and running on your own server. All you'd need to to is upload a new banner (resized) with the same exact name as above. (make sure to upload it to the same directory) When the popup asks you to overwite, click yes/ok. If you made your previous banner so wide to increase the forum width, I can show you how to adjust the width to whatever you'd like as well.

Ah, thank you kindly - I had tried something similar at first, but that didn't appear to correct the problem and I ended up getting sidetracked. I'll give your method a shot when I get a minute to fire up the FTP. :)

Interesting, I've tried your suggestions Brakkish, and the section for the banner remains the same size, but the banner gets smaller. It's an odd one... I've checked in two or three places and found nothing that indicates why this is happening. I'll have another look and then consider reverting to original in case it's a change I've made somewhere in the code and forgotten about.
EDIT: I've reverted, and it's fixed the 'layered' issues, but now it's nesting the resized banner right in the top right hand corner, leaving the table the same size (I think, difficult to tell with the naked eye). :-/

Edit:
Ah... yes looking better. It's fixed the scroll bar issue. Now I presume you'd like to get the banner table area to shrink down to the size of your image. I'll take a quick look through the code and see if I can find the fix for that here on my end.
Edit 2: Okay, after a quick look I see what the problem is. The coder elected to use a clickable field, rather than making the image itself link to your forum home page. You can see this invisible field area by clicking and holding down the button and dragging of to the side. You'll see where the click region is in relation to your actual banner.
The easy fix for this is to find the code in your forum header template, and remove the coding that sets your clickable field. AmindCP > Styles & Templates > Style Manager > Permatang > Common Templates. You should find the code in your header or headinclude box.
Test that until you've got it. Once you've found that code and removed it, you should have a clean Header region to work with. (no mismatched clickable field area)
Now find these two images: http://www.mature-gamers.com/forums/images/permatang/permatang_headerL.gif
and http://www.mature-gamers.com/forums/images/permatang/permatang_headerbg.gif
Resize them both to a height of 129px (do not scale or resize the width)
Then as before (with the banner) upload them with their new sizes, making sure to keep their original names and overwriting the existing.
Edit 3: Currently writing the code for your image link to forum home.

Looking good, although i think the header needs to be lowered a bit.

Yeah, that's the current issue - I'm off to bed shortly, but fingers crossed I'll either A) have the issue fixed or B) have thrown my laptop out of the window and be sulking like no-one's business by the time you log in tomorrow. :p

hehe, know the feeling. Luckily I've got a friend that's been helping me with that kinda stuff on our forum. Did you come up with the "Mature Gamers" banner?
Jason

I wish I could say that I did - I don't have that kind of talent! :p
I got a friend to do the work for me for some beer money - I told him what I wanted, he gave me a few ideas, and then I completely changed my mind. We did that a few more cycles, and eventually came out here. :p

That's cool. Looks good. I do some design myself, on a 'hobby' basis, like my avatar.

New Posts indicator
I'm noticing that the new posts indicator image on the forum index still implies that there are unread posts even though I've read all of the new ones in that forum. So far I've had to manually go into the forum tools drop-down menu and select Mark Forum Read. Since I use those indicators to make sure I've caught up on all the new posts the fact that they are misleading could cause me to miss a few posts! *gasp*
I'm using Firefox on Ubuntu 9.10 with all the forum's default settings and theme.
[EDIT: It also makes the New Posts image appear when I make a new post myself, which is unnecessary since I know I just made a post. My memory isn't that bad :)

It's a known problem with vBulletin's handling of new post markers. I'll look into the issue and see if there's anything I can do.
In the meantime, one option that will save you a few seconds, if you double click the 'new posts' (http://www.mature-gamers.com/forums/images/permatang/statusicon/forum_new.gif) icon on the index, it will mark the forum read for you. :)

Right, I've switched the thread marking indicator to a different setting. This *should* solve the problem temporarily, but the downside is that it's considerably more server intensive, so we may have to switch it back in the future if we expand beyond a certain point.

Seems to be a problem with the Triple Triads game, I drew a match against Todd and in the next round a few of my cards had been swapped with his lol
Jason

Ah, the likelihood there is that the victory rule was 'direct', which means that any cards you lose during the game stay lost, and any you gain stay gained. :)

My triple triad game has frozen on me and won't end lol, it's the AIs turn but he won't move
