Your browser is a important part of you pc so what Software do you use?

I use Maxthon3 and 2, its a great web browser. And has a huge amount of stuff that IE and Firefox does not come with that is cool.

Like you can rey size you tube videos on your scream or any video. Turn of scripts, flash, images etc.

I'm currently using Firefox, but after the past couple of updates, it's started freezing occasionally for up to ten seconds at a time. There's no reason it should be doing that, so I'm thinking about perhaps making the move across to Chrome and seeing what all the fuss is about.

Maxthon has a crash thing so if your pc keeps messing up it isolates a browser crash to only 1 tab (some times I have 7 tabs going lol).

Could try to defrag FireFoxs registry or something.

Chromes is ok, but if you use firefox its kinda like a downgrade to me.

I'm going to see how I get on with Chrome for a few days. There's a couple of add-ons in Firefox I really love, so if I can't find replacements for those, I'll probably go back to FF.

Opera 11.51, now only if more of my key sites supported it properly.

i use FireFox. i tried using Opera and Chrome, but neither can block ads like FF can. that's pretty much the main reason i use it, as well as other nifty addons that can prolly be found on other browsers.

Theres a good addon for chrome that blocks adds (if you want I can find it), also if you dont like adds (or other evil doers) get PeerBlock.

It blocks most adds if you have there https on the blocked list, witch you can get from the web.

i use Ad Block Plus on FireFox and that seriously blocks all ads. like seriously. i see no ads. anywhere. not even those ads that sometimes play before a video. ads are nonexistent for me. i've never really had ad trouble with FF, which is a big reason why i love it.

and to be honest, i'm not really looking to change my browser atm. FF does everything i want it to do, and runs all sites i go to, so i am good as is. if i ever do decide to try Chrome again in the future, i'll have to remember to try PeerBlock and see if it's just as good.

PeerBlock is not for just chrome or a browser. It blocks IP's and https's that you dont want your pc to be in contact with. Like hackers, Adds, Flash Spamm, Investigators.

I roll with Chrome. It was between that and Firefox, but in the end I just went for the simpler one. I was surprised with how darn tootin' little I need from my browser.

I used to use Firefox, but it ran way too slow on my crappy computer so I switched to Chrome.

is it some kind of program then, or a multi-browser addon?

They have that* for Chrome, it's the only add-on I have: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/gighmmpiobklfepjocnamgkkbiglidom.

*different developer, same thing, works just as well--I used FF w/ABP before I moved to Chrome.

I used to use Firefox, but it kept crashing on my system for some reason. The ad-blocker on Opera is fairly good, I don't get pop-up ads and rarely get the ones at the start of videos. I haven't really been bothered enough to install anything else to deal with the few that slip through the net.

i tried it for Chrome, but it just wasn't as thorough as the one for FF. some ads got through the Chrome version.

@DMZ: thanks, i'll go check that out.

If you're using Chrome, I highly recommend using Iron instead. Iron is exactly Chrome, just without the tiny privacy crap that's coming from Google without informing you about it.

Personally, I've all major browsers installed, including the aforementioned Iron. Amongst them all, Opera was, is, and always will remain my favourite one. I like the speed, layout, and functionality of it more than the rest.

I’m using Mozilla Firefox in my PC. Because comparing with other browsers Mozilla Firefox has larger number of add-ons bank and it is the best browser in present.

I started using Chrome as soon as it was released. It's faster, never crashes, and is so much better with memory

Same for me - I'd love to carry on using Firefox, as I still miss the keyboard shortcuts for vBulletin like CTRL+B for bold etc - for some reason, Chrome doesn't like them, and it drives me crazy.

Oh boy, so much this.

I loved Firefox, but I quit when I realised it's getting as bloated and poorly thought out as IE, coincidentally, that's when the minimialistic Chrome entered the stage. I miss Firefox for all the things it could do, and ctrl+i especially ctrl+i the shortucts.
