Portal: Free for the next few days!

If, by some remote chance you've still not played Valve's first-person physics puzzler Portal, now you have one less excuse not to - for the next few days, it's free on PC and/or Mac.

From the looks of the website promoting it (link to free copy is at the bottom of the page), Valve are looking to start making a move into linking videogaming and education, and are using their innovative mind-bender to front that charge. It's certainly an interesting move on Valve's part.

I honestly doubt that ANYONE with Steam has missed out on P1. I mean... I've personally got three copies (though one is technically Konnie's second copy) and neither of those are from the seventy "free Portal" promotions they've had... so... er... this will only seem to apply to this new "we want to be educators!" audience they seem to be pushing Portal at.
