Peter Molyneux is burning the midnight fires over at Lionhead Studies where they are working hard to get Fable III ready for the 2010 holiday season. That will be fairly impressive considering how Fable II was released in Oct 2008.

Fable III takes place in Albion much like the game before it but this time you will take control of the entire kingdom. You will then have the choice to rule with an iron fist or deliver on your promises to create peace and happiness in your realm. The game is going focus on a few different improvements over F2. Touch / Weapon Morphing / Ruling your kingdom

The heavy emphasis on touch is supposed to draw you closer into the actions that you perform. You can interact with the people around you in a positive or negative way by grabbing/holding etc.
In Fable II your character morphed as its decisions added up... in Fable III your weapon does the same.
Another cool twist on the games story is that you do not start out ruling the kingdom. You have to create a following and storm the castle and only then do you reach the second half of the game where you can then sit on the throne.

I really liked Fable II and Fable III looks like it is shaping up to be a very impressive game. Lionhead has a way of creating a very rich and interesting story compared to most other games. I like the connection they make you feel towards your hero and the humor always makes me laugh.

Are you guys/gals looking forward to this game or is it just another sequel?

Seriously looking forward to this - the Fable series is one of my favorites. It'll be interesting to see if this lives up to Fable II and not just a disappointment.

I've not played the second one, as I'm still holding out on getting my Xbox repaired (for reasons I've gone into before), but I really enjoyed the original, despite its faults. The second one (and now this one as well) is on my list of games to make sure I play at some point.

I loved Fable. I guess this is a good time to stop hoping Fable 2 will ever make it's way to the PC... Still, If I ever end up with an X-Box ill make sure to pick both of these up.

I loved Fable, too. But, due to not having a 360, I never played the second. If someone ever happens to give me a free 360, I'll get these.

Pretty much the same opinion as the others here. I'm a huge Fable series fan and always have been. The first Fable really got me into these series. If my friend hadn't introduced me to the original Fable, I wouldn'tve been aware of such an awesome game, most likely. Peter Molyneux is truly one of the best masterminds in the RPG world.

Fable II was a little less enjoyable to me than Fable I, if I had to compare them. Sure, the graphics of Fable II are better, but the immersive gameplay of Fable I was just a tad bit superior to that of II. I have to say though, I'm really looking forward to Fable III and the promises they've made.

I never played the first one. The second I did start a file with a friend and played it for a couple of hours. Seemed good, but I couldn't get much into it because of the limited time I had playing it.
Perhaps I'll be picking this up if I have some money to spare.

I'm... dubious. The second one was okay and not nearly worth all the attention it got.

I really didn't care for Fable 2. I just felt like the whole game was based on playing dress up and in the end, who cares? I really did enjoy the dog and the philosophy behind it, that in all adventure games the hero is alone. Ultimately I would rather play a final fantasy or oblivion type game, and the SIms separately.

I am in love with Fable 2! There is just so much to do. It's exactly my type of game. Where you can buy stuff and you are free to go wherever you want.

Fell in love with Fable 3 as well <3 Perhaps even more than Fable 2
