FREE: Command & Conquer games

I'm aware that this has been around for a while, but it's the first time I've come across it.

If you duck over here (http://www.commandandconquer.com/classic?sourceid=eag1321) you can get C&C, C&C: Red Alert and C&C: Tiberium Sun (+ Firestorm) free and legal.

C&C was my first RTS and I loved it. I still have the discs around for it and Red Alert, but I think I'll be downloading these -- mostly because my RA Soviets disc is borked and I've never played TS.

I don't know what, if any, MP these older C&C games have (I didn't have the net back then) but if they've still got working MP we should get some MGers together for a match or two.

Will anyone else be grabbing these?

I'll have a good look at Tiberium Sun. I know we tried Red Alert back on MG with a couple of us, and we couldn't get it working. I'd imagine TS would have slightly more up-to-date multiplayer support.

I think I'm going to play through all the campaigns again in the next while. I just don't know whether to start with RA or Tiberium Dawn...

The only C&C game I tried was Red Alert - pretty good game. Just another game to add to my collection. Good find :) +rep

Ill probably try out Tiberian Sun, I've had a play with the old ones they released a while back but they were beyond my tolerance for old games. At least as far as the genre goes.
