Session - Timeout Length Adjustment

I recommend adjusting the session timeout length. I've made a couple posts that went beyond 15 minutes to write up, and I've timed out (resulting in a required re-log and loss of information). Luckily I expect these things on newer forums and always save/copy my work just before submitting.

This can cause extreme frustration in those who have just spent the last two hours writing up the article of the century, only to lose it to the forum gods.:)

This setting can be found - AdminCP > Vbulletin Options> Cookies and HTTP Options. Ours is set to 2 hours, and have not received any complaints.

I take your point, 15 minutes is too short. I must have missed this when setting up - however obviously there's a security risk with increasing the timeout length too far - I'll up it to an hour or so, that should be plenty. :)

Over in my neck of the woods, I've been nominated for the "Wall of Text" award on numerous occasions. :D

But yes, I'd agree, an hour or so is probably a decent amount of time for most.
