I'm here and how do I get this picture to post?

Hey gang, been around a week or so. Haven't gotten a pic to work yet, someone care to enlighten me? I'm a student nurse in upstate new york, I love music, baseball, talking about probably anything (renaissance man), and of course video games. Just got a new web cam so if anyone ever wants to skype some gimme a holler.

To post images you simply put the image URL in tags.

I like a lot of different kinds, I'm an Xbox player. I play shooters, Rpgs, action games probably the most. Dead Space, L4D, Gears of War, Assassins Creed, Batman, Fight night, Halo, Mass Effect, that kind of stuff.

eh I'm not all that computer savvy, still couldn't get the picture to show up. Should I be upoloading it from my computer?

If the picture is on your computer you'll need to upload it to a site like TinyPic (http://tinypic.com/) and use the URL it gives you. Alternatively, you can click the 'Manage Attachments' button in the options beneath the post creating box.

If it's a picture from online somewhere, just right click it, hit "Copy Image Location" and the URL will be on your clipboard for you to paste into the [IMG] tags.

Oh ok thanks man, It's good to know. Of course now I realize I was being unclear, I meant to have my profile picture show. I think you are showing me how to post a pic in a message right? I swear I'm not a moron :)

User CP (Navigation Bar) > Edit Profile Picture (Sidebar)

Enter an image URL in the appropriate box, or click browse to upload one from your PC

Take note though: "The maximum size of your custom image is 100 by 100 pixels or 64.0 KB".
I notice that you don't have an avatar, so in case you mean that:

Avatar:
User CP > Edit Avatar

Enter an image URL in the appropriate box, click browse to upload one from your PC or select one of the generic avatars by clicking on them.

Again, take note of this: "The maximum size of your custom image is 110 by 110 pixels or 34.2 KB"
