Right guys, last week's server issues aside, we're ready to go again. I've got a few 'secret Saxton' pressies from the Mann Store to dish out, too.
We're starting at 8pm GMT, and running through until everyone goes to bed. :)

Server IP is 108.61.255.90:27015 - you can find it via our Steam Group (http://steamcommunity.com/groups/mature-gamers/), as well as getting a notification when it starts.
Now go grab your sappers, flamethrowers and fish(!) and start getting ready!

Hopefully ill have a bit of time today, but as usual, the 8pm GMT is right on spot with weekly busy-time for Konrad. If you guys decide to stop being fatties and play for more than an hour, ill consider gracing you with my presence.

I still play from time to time - haven't played for a while as time hasn't been there to do so, but I'll add you and drop in should I ever catch you in a game. :)

What class(es) do you play?

Yeah cool cheers. I'm online on something most evenings anyways!.

Anything other than scout or spy really, but mostly Soldier or Pyro, Black Box and shotgun, and Degreaser and Flare gun for pyro. I'll play medic or engineer if ones needed I personally find them a little dull to play as..

I'm trying to get better with the huntsman for sniper too.

Ah, I'm primarily a Medic/Pyro player, although I've not played Pyro for a while. Generally I'll turn my hand to whatever class the team needs, although I'm not a particularly competent Engi/Sniper player, so I try to avoid those classes if I can.

Pyro is great. There's no greater pleasure than seeing a disguised enemy spy do a u turn and run away when he's seen you coming! :D. Medics alright too but I prefer shooting things myself... People think medics are pretty weak but I find them quite capable at kill stuff.

I've often found that a good medic is the difference between a team winning and losing. A decent medic player who knows when to switch between Kritz and Uber (the Quick-Fix is useless...), who doesn't just attach themselves to the nearest Heavy player and stay there for the whole match, and who's smart enough to know when to fall back when their heal target is charging blindly into the enemy sentry nest... that player is a huge addition to any team. :D

Having said that, I can see why some don't enjoy playing it - there's nothing worse than playing medic on a bad team (you know the ones... four scouts and no soldiers etc), and if you're a good aim, then you're probably more use playing an offensive class, but for guys like me, who can't aim for shit, then the medic is a decent way of contributing to a team.
One of my personal favourite tactics as Medic is using an ubercharge on a Pyro. In the right place, where the enemy are likely to be closely bunched and unlikely to just run away (a good example is the first point on the third Dustbowl map), you can cause so much chaos and confusion - nothing gets the opposition panicky like an invulnerable Pyro running round their ranks. :D

Yeah a good medic can be a game winner, especially on 2fort I find. "Good" being the point, as you said the ones that just cling to one heavy and ignore all the other players no matter how often they shout or how injured they are just infuriate me!! Personally I prefer a soldier medic combo to a heavy medic. I find the heavy just moves too slow when shooting to be completly effective(unless they are in the right place at the right time), and that a soldier is a bit more mobile and can do more direct damage. Especially with kritz, limbs everywhere!

And talking of bad teams, I mostly play on a 2fort only map at the moment and I think each team had about. 4 spies, 6 snipers, and 4 engineers(2 turrets in the sewers each team), and 1 soldier... That was me.
