PSN - Joe Danger

Joe Danger is a PSN downloadable game with side scrolling motorbike fun at its core. You and up to three friends can race through tracks full of obstacles and jumps while trying to score points for your style. After watching the preview video I immediately thought of Excitebike on NES and got entirely too excited. It really does look like the old NES title updated and pumped full of balloons and adrenaline. Awesome :) The developers have not confirmed where it will end up but suggested that XBL/PC will get it also.

At least for now the development of Joe Danger has been prioritized for PS3/PSN and then possibly for XBL/PC later. I'm sure if the game gains any momentum at all then $$$ will propel Joe Danger onto PC/XBL. HelloGames staff is a very small team so that also plays into when the game gets ported.

The developers are going for a quick and highly repayable game which is exactly what I want from a portion of my games. Something I can pick up and put down as things come up around the house. Eurogamer did a hands-on here (http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/joe-danger-2010-hands-on).

Heh, this looks like it has the potential to be a right giggle. Fingers crossed it'll deliver on what looks like quite a promising concept.

According to Eurogamer (http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/ps3-joe-danger-for-late-may-early-june), Joe Danger could be as little as a month away, and I for one am stoked about it - it looks like a great little game, and I'm likely going to be downloading it first chance I get.
