Yello,
So I was given a link because someone mistook me for a mature gamer. We were playing Terraria. Those were good times.
But I like other games too. SUPER MEAT BOYYY! And BF3 and few more of those before it. And Mount&Blade, and Left4Dead(s). First Zelda is all right.

Ah yes, finally someone to try and have a discussion with you.
I kid, of course, I kid.
Welcome aboard! We mean only pleasure, no pain. Pain though if that's what you're into.
Sounds like you might be.

SUPER MEAT BOYYY!
Oh, sweet zombie jebus. I love and I hate that game in equal amounts. I love it because it's a classic old-school platformer with a great sense of humour. I hate it because it is the fucking devil. That game has damn near brought me to tears of frustration at times.
Anyway, welcome to MG - sounds like you might have already stumbled across our Terraria server, if not, feel free to dive on in!
Welcome! Does this mean I'm not the new guy anymore?
Quiet, new guy. :p

Oo hey I got a welcoming committee! How nice.
I do like many things about SMB, the difficulty, the increasing difficulty, and the difficult difficulty curve. Also soundtrack of first boss fight. It must be one of my favourite platformers. Or at least, it's the only platformer I am willing to play even when it makes my whole body tremble and ache.
I don't think I can name any top game... Thief comes to my mind first though.
I have played so many I forget others. o.o

The committee returns!
G'day Archie, and morjensta dimples.
I reckon I don't have an all time favourite games in the end. Lately games have started becoming so artistic and evolved it's hard to keep track what has had the best impact. I remember when Squaresoft ramped up their graphics and stories with the RPGs on Super Nintendo, and when first F.E.A.R. came out. That was so scary... I think I remember screaming and alt-tabbing off a few times... I also remember trying to find out what the "adult check" answers for Larry were. All good times.
But now there are so many games that have started to combine many styles. 1st person games (previously "shooters") are so much more, and Skyrim is giving a taste what RPGs can really be. It's so exciting!
Oh, but I think alltime longest-lasting favourite is Fallout 2. Story, genre, style, art, the whole package. After that Planescape: Torment.
If you wonder why the sudden increase in letters and words, it is because I'm back at work. Work = forums.

Someone call Konrad an ambulance. He's very likely in danger of squeeing himself to death.
