Things you love about MG

Usually when there's a suggestion/feedback section on a forum, it starts getting a downward feel in that area. This isn't limited to just forums, but sales, retail, marketing, and just about anything dealing with a client/customer base. People tend to speak up when something bothers them, but less often when they have praise.

This thread should serve as a reminder and lift the spirits of those browsing this section. Spreading a little sunshine and pointing out the good things with something never hurt now and again. :)


Couple things I wanted to say were:

You've got a kick-ass domain name. I'm not sure how long you've owned mature-gamers but it's a good score indeed.

The logo is catchy also, I like it.

thank you - nothing like a little read of this thread to pick me up when things are a little slow.

As for the domain name, I just struck lucky, I guess - I only picked it up at the end of September when I was searching for sites along these lines and couldn't find any I liked, so I thought I'd look into starting my own - typed in a few domain names, and was shocked to see this one come up!

I like the pages layout and the logo is just amazing. However, I find the background color a bit odd (is it some kind of navy green dotted background?)

Did you try lighter, maybe more fun colors for the back ground?

I almost agree with Knighto on the background although I'm not that great with color matching so good luck :) That said...

MG rocks because of the nice layout, friendly and diverse community, and great domain name. The best thing of all that no one has mentioned yet is NO ADS! That makes visiting the forum much easier on the eyes. Hopefully as MG grows we can set a system up so we can keep it this way. Thank you Jason.

A bit nauseating, but the thing I love about this site is you guys. When I first decided to take the plunge and start this place up, my main concern was getting that 'core' collection of 8-10 good, decent gamer folk to set an example and generally get involved in discussions.
Suffice to say, you guys have far exceeded my expectations in that regard, and I have no doubt that as long as I don't drop the ball, you've given MG a very strong platform to build on.

Now someone hand me the bucket. :p
