Caprica

Anyone watching this show? I'm getting into it, but it takes a few episodes to really get going. I was a really big Galactica fan, still am of course, miss that show!

Oh yeah I also watched Battlestar Galactica. I spent the better part of a road trip explaining the first couple seasons to my wife. When I first saw a commercial for Caprica without knowing its storyline I wrote it off as some lame drama. Oops! I have watched each episode so far and I have enjoyed watching the cylon race begin. Also it's pretty cool to see Admiral (Bill) Adama as a kid mixed up in crime and cutting school. I never looked into the back stories of any of the BG characters so this is all fresh to me. Great show and one of the only dramas I have watched in years. I love space :)

Yeah I'm into space too :). I like how they are really building on the cultures of the twelve colonies. We kind of had a general notion about what some of these cultures and planets were like, mostly based on the matching astrological sign. Obviously Libron was going to be a planet where the courts were, picon was going to have a lot of oceans.. I didn't expect the Geminons to be orgy loving whores though :) Im digging it.

Did you watch SGU at all? Wasn't crazy about that one. I thought that they tried to make battlestar galactica again, but in the lamest way. Let's take a fun show and strip all the fun and not have any characters or stories... that show kind of blows.

SYFY is lucky that they have Caprica, their other shows are god awful. I can't believe that I have to write SYFY instead of Sci FI because they thought it would sell better.

I'm still surprised that Adama's past was so shady. It finally makes sense that in BG, Bill Adama's son would have such a hard time seeing things from his fathers viewpoint.

I don't get traditional TV service in my home so I have no idea about any other shows SYFY has. I get all my content from the internet so I only watch shows that have been reviewed well so I get to filter out all the junk that SYFY has like SGU.

Hah renaming SciFi is like Radio Shack becoming The Shack... ehh it's still an overpriced electronics shop that I avoid thanks to Amazon.
