Ah good old Duke 3D - it was one of the first FPS's I played. It was so fun, and just downright gratuitous in the violence, nudity and plain coolness.

Is Duke Nukem Forever development still going? I'd heard rumors of its demise a few weeks ago.

DNF is, and always will be, vapourware, IMO. It's a case of "until the game ships, I don't believe it exists" for me.
