Bioware recently added a countdown ticker to its main website and Mass Effect 2 website, counting down to a "Epic BioWare Community Event". Many have theorized what this announcement will be - from a new DLC content to Mass Effect being released on the PS3. Were the theorists right?
The countdown has now reached zero, and we have our answer.
Nothing.... Zilp.... Zilch.
Then I remembered to refresh the page and we really did have our answer.
Well, actually, Not really – both the Mass Effect and Bioware websites went down. So we're still waiting. Is anyone actually surprised?
Here's the message:
Our Apologies
The BioWare websites; online store; master server; and online authentication are temporarily unavailable. Sorry folks; we're having a few technical difficulties. Those pesky Gnomes are banging away at the giant; steam-producing clockwork computers we keep in the basement guarded by Swikky the dire squirrel. We will be back up as soon as we can.
I'll post once the sites come back on-line as to the "major annoucement"
