Hardware area?

Maybe a hardware/software forum, with information about PC stuff, video cards, reviews, links to drivers, etc?

It's certainly worth considering - unfortunately that's not really my area of expertise, so I'd worry about it getting neglected somewhat and falling out of use, and the last thing I want is to have too many empty forums around the place.

If someone wants to run it however, I'd be happy to have it here.

I'm not against the idea, but wouldn't it be better to just use the "Offtopic forum" for this, or at least until there are enough threads to actually make it worth having a separate forum? Think its more important to focus on the forums that's already here. Quality over quantity, least when the forum is this new.

I am sort of plannning on populating that hardware area with specs and hardware reviews/comparisons, that kind of thing. Basically a lot of the things that users frequently ask about.

Plus, we are going to have some RSS stuff to post in there as well.

You could post it on the forums and mail it to members as well? Will get indexed then as well as being a benefit for members.
